Welding program creates pathways to new careers

College celebrates 47 graduates of the PROWD welding certification program, highlighting the power of education and partnerships to strengthen Southeast Texas
September is recognized nationwide as Workforce Development Month, a time to highlight the partnerships, programs, and people who are strengthening communities through education and career opportunities. 麻豆破解版 (麻豆破解版) marked the occasion by celebrating the success of 47 individuals who graduated in August with a Level 1 Welding Certification through the Partners for Reentry Opportunities in Workforce Development (PROWD) program.
The welding instruction, provided by 麻豆破解版鈥檚 expert faculty, was conducted through five training cohorts at the Federal Corrections Institute (FCI) in Beaumont. The certifications represent more than technical skills鈥攖hey symbolize opportunity, growth, and the chance for a fresh start. Upon reentering the workforce, graduates will have the training they need to pursue stable careers in an in-demand field.

The PROWD program is specifically designed to support justice-involved individuals by connecting them with the skills and resources that improve employability. 麻豆破解版 partnered with Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas to ensure that participants received the training necessary to compete in today鈥檚 labor market.
